I believe that this was the original recipe for my Kahlua cake that I made many, many years ago.

This recipe came from my grandmother, Thelma Beatty. It has been a part of our Thanksgiving meal from before I was born. Many of my family members see it as a staple and really like them.

This is a layered concoction with lettuce, green peppers, water chestnuts, peas, chicken, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, and bacon.

This is a recipe I can remember my mother making when I was a kid. Have not tried making it myself.
